There are full time Rector and Wardens at DPS Udaipur to cater fully to the needs of the students at all levels and at all times.

The Guidance office has an OPEN DOOR policy, meaning that the students are welcome to speak to the wardens or tutors whenever they feel the need. The wardens/tutors maintain complete confidentiality, unless the well being of the student requires that information be given to the authorities or parents.

DPS Udaipur believes and follows the adage that a boarding is the second home for the children. Apart from ensuring all physical comforts and academic needs, the emotional needs and constant guidance to the students of all ages is stressed upon. Saturdays are specially assigned to group sessions, discussions as well as individual counselling in an informal setting, making it easier for the children to open up and discuss their problems freely.
